So I bought a 16GB Kingston CF and a card reader so that I can try to play songs I've recorded on GarageBand live on the 404. I've been pulling out individual tracks from the songs, exporting as mp3 then converting to wav, as the 404 accepts only wav and aif, and dumping them in the CF (on the desktop.) The first time I inserted the card, I formatted it. Now when I look in the CF disc on my desktop there are a whole bunch of folders named "BKUP1" "BKUP2" and so forth, down to "SP404." When I drag the tracks into here to hopefully sample, which folder should I be dumping them in?
Anyone else have experience trying to translate recordings from GarageBand onto the 404? Experience using a CF reader with a Mac?

Don't bother with card readers.
Get rca to 1/8" cables or 1/4" to 1/8" and sample the audio directly from your computer to your SP.
