Chopper, how did you record the source file? With the SP?

First let me say, righteous flips from both of you, once again.
I used my condenser mic, an Audio Technica P48. I recorded it into the SP but didn't modify it.

I see. The sound quality was a little too good :) Very fresh. What about phantom power? Is that built in or did you connect the SP to a mixer?
(I tried to keep the freshness of the sound. Imported wav and, for the first time, exported the result as a wav. Maybe I should have uploaded a wav to…)

Hope nobody minds, I'm going to let this run for another week. If nobody else (other than me) enters, i'll give it one more week then set up the poll regardless.

Wow. Haven't been around in awhile...I've been trying to learn my maschine mikro...yeah, don't hate. Anyway, interesting challenge, like the entries so far.

I've been using my SX to record voice-overs for training videos where I work. I find it tough to use when it comes to slicing/chopping - which is why I picked up the maschine mikro. Still, I'm so old school, I always think linear recording from the tape days.

This challenge reminds me of the creative possibilities for portable sampling. I'm gonna mess with it, but I probably can't get something together for this contest.

I'll wait til your entry is in, Om. The more the merrier! There's not much demand for these challenges anyway, it seems. In case anyone else wants to join in, the new deadline is Thursday, July 9th.
