anyone familiar with machine and kaoss pad 3?

yo, i got a question.
is anybody ou there familiar with ni machine and the kp3? i basically wanna hook up machine with the kp3 and use the kp3 as an fx modulator, just to screw around with fx on tracks. anybody heard something about this combination or tried it themselves? would be glad about answers!
i was looking around in the ni forums, someone had the same problem, but no one gave this poor dude an answer...

Don't see why not, just audio out to KP3 in and out to interface - done right?

Not sure about MIDI on maschine, whether its handled thru PC (ie, MIDI clock/sync notes coming from PC) or in the hardware.
