NKOTB

Post by BradOblivion »

Whuddup all, sorry if you thought this was about Donny and em', I'm new here and just decided to make myself known. I've been making beats with the 404 for about a year now, had a 303 for 3 yrs til an unfortunate show accident (Drinking 40's and Live sampling is an art i have yet to master) but anyways, i dig all types of music from hip hop to sounds of the congo(Whuddup Missa Luba!) I hope i can contribute as much as I've learned on this dope site. Peace.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yeah its been a minute since i touched the 303. At a showcase, i was performing using my 303 for live sequences and i just had to take one more sip of the old gold which proved deadly for my beloved 303. While Im rocking I spilled brew all over my sampler and that was that. For a few seconds though there were some ill glitches til it just spazzed. Anyways, I'm here now a full fledged 404 head. I love the quick easy use and effects. Anybody else got any crazy sampler stories?

I'm pretty much just making beats in the studio for my crew and local artists. Mainly Hip Hop but i've been trying my hand at some broken beat ish in the same vein as Madlibs DJ Rels project.

I read about that SP-forum compilation, and with all the heat on this board its only a matter of time f'real. Thanks for the props, I've been on a lo-fi tip lately freestyling my beats with just vinyl and the Sp, still tryna learn new styles and techniques(guess thats why we're all here) But I can't wait to hear more heat from you cats. Lets pass the inspiration like a Big Marley Spliff!
