Open Challenge - The no SP battle!

Post by Unfolding »

Nah, SPs are cool. :D But let's try battling with other samplers.

It looks like most users here have access to more than just Roland/Boss SP samplers- so I want to hear what you can do with them for a change! Doesn't matter if you use hardware of software/DAW samplers, just use these samples & flip them as hard as you can with something different.

Rules are:

All samples are proudly ripped from vintage & virgin vinyl.

Cool! I was wondering what that song's title meant. Windchase are an old & kinda obscure Australian prog band, pretty good too. It looks like they only got one album out- I should've researched it after I bought it. Didn't realise it was a bit of a score... Their singer/guitarist's parents migrated here according to his site's bio (among some pretty massive hyperbole about his career, I'd never heard of him until now).

ok. i didn't knew them.
the singer was italian immigrate. apparently they formed a famous prog band from australia.
if you like prog check le Orme, Area ,Premiata Forneria Marconi and Franco Battiato (70s only), but i if you like it probably you yet listen to them.

I've never done one of these challenges. How long does it need to be? And I guess we just post on our own Soundcloud, correct?
