yo.
finally i got a 1 gb compact flash card suitable for type 1 & 2. i put in my sp 404, turned it on and nothing happened. when i put it out again, it worked as nothing ever happened. does anyone else has problems with memory cards? couldn't find any solutions, but as i heard 1 gb cf card are pretty hard to get, couse they only build cards with bigger memory storage. would be really glad if you could help me!

Do you mean that when you take the card out it works on something else other than your sp? Sounds like you might have to format the card to your sp. I know you hafta do this with all cards the first time you want to use them with your sp. For how to do this consult manual. Hope this helps.

if i put my card into my sp i am not able to turn it on (if i turn it on, nothing happens, no lights, nothing). if i put the card out again it works with all the pre-samples (bank a). so basically it's not even possible to format the card in the sp, cause when the card is in, somehow there's no power in my sp.
