Whats up beatmakers? Its been a minute since I've checked out the site but I am glad to see that it is still up and running. I almost sold my sp 606, but I'm glad I did not. When you get a moment, check out this vid I did using the Roland 606.

I appreciate that. I must have been crazy to even think about selling my 606. I go thru phases of wanting to dj instead of making beats. 1

Thanks for the comment. Do you regret selling your 606?
I have to admit, I've had the mpc 500/1000 and the 606 is a monster.
I wish I could spend more time creating beats/mixes on this thing.

i had some bugs with the 606: 2fx simultaneously+playing/switching patterns=606 blocked; sometimes the metronome loosed time.
over than that i miss the sensitive and sweet pads, the 2fx, the internal synth and the usb (never used indeed).
maybe it happens that i bought a non working sp606?
for those and other reasons (above all: the pitch function and a more precise graphical function) i took the sp-505.
to be honest, i have the mpc 1000 but (after making more editing things on a pc) it is taking dust from months...

i tried the mpc500 too, the pads are almost horribles...

Sounds like you had a bad 606.I agree with you about the 500 and how terrible the pads are. I sold it real quick. So far so good with the 606. The only issue is that I have to pitch my samples on a DAW. But oh well. I am working with the 606 to do more remixes. Stay tuned! 1
