 Post subject: SP MIDI Interface

We all know that the sp is advertised as a MIDI interface, but how can it be used? I'm trying to use a MIDI keyboard through the MIDI I/O to a computer, but no data transfer is allowed. Does anyone know how to use the SP as a MIDI interface and not a control surface? Is it possible?

It's much easier to use the 606 as an interface than as a control surface.

Simply select the 606 as the midi in/ out option in 'control panel' on your computer. Connect a midi keyboard and away you go. I'm pretty sure it's that simple... if you have any probs let us know :D
