hi
i was thinking about one day someone said to me 'bout sp-606. i was afraid to the fact that my sp-303, like any other 303, got a pitch fx not very very clear and after applyng this in resampling soon after, founding the sound not clear, i have to process the pitch-shifted-samples with the compressor fx. The guy said to me that in the sp-606 we got a Master Function that solves this preoblem.
what do you know about this feature?

thanx

I use pitch-shift for effect staff only(and it's good!)...but it looses high frequences and the "punch" is lost often,so i use enhancer(it generates some hight ,and the master effect (low and hight compressor)...

compared to kaosspad i personally like sp more (in most effects)

in fact, like most SP boys i think, i would like to use pitch shifter in order to find sound scale in notes (for ex.:for the keyboard samples)to play in some pads to have a riff or something. with the great sp-303 he pitch shifter this is maybe a weak point...

yeah quality is definitely lost when u try to change the pitch on the 606... I haven't really tried or bothered to get it right tho... maybe somebody else may have some input

Yup getting it all to sound consistent can be difficult if some samples are pitch shifted and others aren't. I find resampling with a little bit of FX applied usually helps a bit.

in the sp-303 i operate that way:after a pitch-shifting the sample is not clear and so i have to apply compressor fx (wich sometimes is really great 8) )in order to make samples beacome at a more clear level.
