If you are loading samples from a computer, why not sample via usb to the sp? It is much quicker than loading from the CF card, and you will never have to worry about file limits. If needed, you can always export the sample to the card.

To do so, set the sp as your default soundcard. The SP should receive sound via usb, which can be sampled. Enter the Sample Edit screen to clean up the sample if needed.

I find that method to be more time consuming, when using small files (drumkits for example), than loading the lot as a file and chopping it across the pads.

It's good to know there's more than one way to skin a cat though!
