i use this system with mc909 and aftrer some xd and also some card Readers it works. ive read somewhere that this card reader should work for the sp505 and the 303 also...

You'd still need to find XD cards that are within the proper Megabyte range for each sampler in order to be compatible too. Pretty sure 128mb is the max.

thanks I hadn't considered that.

that be easier to find XD at that size than smart media cards though, in fact it'd be easier to get a bigger XD card and use a card reader + my computer to partition the card and make the right space that way.

im not hacker or engeneer but when ive tried with my mc909, i found differend xd card with or without certain letters like H og some others, befeor to find the right one (the one with no letter at all)...

The 505 nor will any other SP accept memory cards with partitions.

Just spend the right money the first time so you know it works.

the 606 excepts a partitioned cf cards.

I bought an XD-SMC Adapter (SMC Interface) just like the one pictured, with two 128 Olympus XD cards.. And neither of them work with my SP-505. Just a heads up!

I also tried XD adapter and it didn't work with SP-505.
