OK - not sure if anyone here can help me, but is there a way to control these pads:

Pad accent
Clipboard
Pad Bank
Del
Hold

...via external midi controller? I'm able to control the 16 primary pads as well as the EXT SOURCE with a controller, but was wondering if (and how) it'd be possible to program the above functions to be controlled externally as well.

Any ideas?

You can control 505's: PAD ACCENT, EXT SOURCE, PAD BANK (Called 'Program Change' in MIDI), SONGS, START/STOP/NEXT etc.

To do this correctly refer to the MIDI implementation chart of the 505. You can download the manual from http://www.rolandus.com or other Roland sites.

Don't ask me how coz' MIDI on 505 is a real bitch to work with.
