hooking up guitar??

hey guys, i really want to hook my guitar to my amp, and record shit into the 404. how can i do this? ive tried multiple ways, but i dont know how to set it up, help anyone?

If you have an amp, then either go direct from the amp output to the input of the 404, or even better, use a mic in front of the amp speaker.
