This is the first I've heard of this, I hate it when this shit happens, obviously it couldn't have been of natural causes. I met him at a show a few years ago, seemed like a good humble dude-- and obviously lyrically his thoughts went way beyond this temporarry existance. While this is unbelievably sad, for me spiritually it's one more good soul I'll be praying to.

Tragic! He was a talented emcee, as stated above, the best battle emcee in my opinion. Not only a big loss for Rhymesayers, but to the whole hip-hop scene. He was mad young, too! Rest in peace!

I was extremely sad to hear this news...

Eyedea was someone who I felt I could connect with musically. His albums were, and still are some of my favorites.

I've seen this dude live at least 8 times. I have a lot of really fond memories going to his shows when I was in my early twenties.

Much respect Mike. Rest In Peace homie, I will always hold the conversation we had after a show with me. It's a damn shame that so many great, talented individuals die so young.
