Yo SP fam, you probably didn't recognize it but lately I haven't had the time to lurk around here because life was a bit weird to me in the last months.

In april I got thrown out of uni because I missed out on some exam date last december and got stuff mixed up somehow :( So all I could do was applying for an apprenticeship cause I need some kind of degree to get a decent job. Luckily a cool company took me and I'm about to start working there in two weeks. I'm gonna program websites with PHP, SQL and all that stuff.

Maybe I should've taken this step earlier, I'm 25 now and it's about time I earn my own money. Good thing is, I can buy more records and equipment 8) Downside is that I won't have any holidays ever again and I have to plan my vacations carefully in advance. Otherwise it's all good, I'll spend my last free weeks with a trip to Prague and my home region in northern Germany and I just returned from a awesome festival where I saw DJ Shadow and Four Tet.

Now I'm about to read through all the stuff I missed out on and check if there's a battle running in the Arena ;D Peace guys, I love this forum too much to ever truly leave.

hopefully you'll have some time to make beats. i graduated school and got a job right after as an animator, 40 hours a week, come home and all i can do is play video games cause it doesnt take a brain to do that. you might have to take a vacation just to produce tracks. welcome to the world of "not enought time to do shit". Have fun

Cool to see ya back, and gainful employment has many benefits. See ya in the arena.

@wax and cartesia:
:D Any plans how you're gonna continue after uni? I guess the hardest thing about studying is to force yourself to sit down and learn regularly.
It was the second try for me and I only didn't make it cause I thought we had three tries for each exam when it really were two and I didn't apply for an extra try :roll: It was very time consuming cause we had like 8 or 9 different classes with an exam for each one at the end of the semester and we had to do some kind of homework for most of them on a weekly basis. That sucked a lot but at least I learned some Java and C programming.
