Hi guys ;)
I'm going to buy the sp-404 so I got a really serious question ;) I want to buy it from USA but because I'm living in UK (at the moment) I would like to ask about the power supply - can just use the US-UK adapter, or do I need to buy dedicated one?

thanks

btw. the forum is pretty slow today, isn't it? (or it's just my connection)

AFAIK the US-UK adapter should work fine. The forum loads fast enough on my end.

i'll double check later but i think the power supply is universal. i bought mine in japan though, so i don't know if that makes a diff. if u get a chance look at the power supply box(it should say 100-240v like mine).
u could go to music store 4 that.

furthermore u could always use battaries. why don't you buy it from japan? yahoo.co.jp some people could understand english!

then again the dollar pretty cheap now.

random note, are the US units universal(power supply)?

at the moment I'm drastically sort of time... :/ I'll try to look around in some big music stores. Only thing I'm afraid of is that sp-404 uses 110V - it's quite small peace of gear isn't it? that means that I need some kind of adapter that can provide 110V from 240V line (sorry for bad english - I hope it's clear what I mean :D)

true that - at the moment audiolines got the sp404 for less than $300 (US $)

I'm not in to it, but I think so :)

thanks for help anyway - but could you just check the voltage on your power supply - I think that might clear things up :]

hey cartesia,
1. did u buy it in usa?
2. r u sure? check the converter/batt plug/what have u, cuz in small (plastic) print it would say 100-240v.

on the flip side; i've noticed that japanese electronics tend to only be universal if bought in japan. like cameras, md players, etc...
