wow i just realized a giant difference between what i was recording into my mpc 1k with just mono. and now i gotta re record my sample through stereo, chop breaks, and buy two fuckin rca to 1/4 plugs. TS not TrS. fucked that up today and was sittin here like wtf. man this shit pisses me off, all i want is to focus on music not the dumb techy shit in between. thanks for listening. super silver haze to the rescue

Mono is what most people sample in regardless of their samplers. I mean don't get me wrong some samples are best in stereo, but when you get down to the roots of sampling, mono is the key/ticket!

Mono saves memory/space/polyphony + you can pan to create your own unique stereo effects. Even the mighty MPC doesn't allow for infinite polyphony.
