haha....yay you for being the first lady to join. i actually was asking my self if there are any ladies out there using SP's. my video's on youtube get watched by ladies (at least that what shows up on my "insight" thing) well welcome. what kinda music are you making?

oh and when i first started reading your post here, i assumed you were a guy and you were saying you weren't sure about joining a forum with only guys. which is something i ponder all the time. "why am i on this site with all dudes?" well now i don't have to ask my self that. thank you!

and a very happy welcome goes out to you from Germany...I found this forum almost a year ago cause I bought me a 404...now i don´t use any SP anymore but I am still here beacause the folks have become a sorta online musician family.
Wishing you a very great stay...all your questions will always be answered.

Welcome Reese. I hope you like yr new 404 and I hope the forum treats you well.

Vivi Pedraglio is a member here, and she chimes in time to time (but I think she mostly just tours and messes with her MV - nice!), and Pursuit Grooves is NOT a member here (as far as I know) but she rocks an sp-505. So there may be some kinship for you there.

Have fun!

thanx guys for the warm welcome, and to 7th City this is my first stab at trying to make music. i hav been writing since i was like 9,but i have also had a deep passion and appreciation for music. i decided one day i wanted to make it so i did sum research and ended up buyin an sp 404. im really trying to experiment with it and learn the ins and outs. so far i like what i see though. this is also my first time joining a forum,i've never been much of a social person, lol.

Welcome to the forum! I'm fairly new here myself, but like everybody says this is a great place to come chat, learn new info, and share your music. I'm one of those people who don't own an SP sampler, but still frequent the board because of the community here. I think you're going to fit in nicely. Don't be shy and ask all the questions you need!

Welcome, Reese
I remember when I got my 404...it was the best tool I've ever bought(not that I have much gear)
Have fun making music with your sampler ;)
