Might as well sell the SX, get some cash for the MK2 as you work. It is Roland. You are still getting that SP workflow, nothing sacrificed.

But right now, the reserves for ordering is so staggering, even if you preorder today, you won't see it until Jan. or Feb. of 2022. I say keep the SX, use the time to get your cash up and grab a MK2 sometime in March 2022. This way you keep both, try it out and sell the one that is useless.

Just save, save, save up. You’ll want both to bounce samples/beats back n forth.

Trust me!

Believe me I’m not trying to sell this SX haha, it was my introduction to hardware so it’s close to my heart, I’ve got like atleast 4 pay checks until stock catches up to demand I’d say

YES especially live, MK2 emulating two turntables and the SX as a master effect to use over it all like dj fx looper…. All condensed into two portable boxes?! Yes please

Guys, I wanted to mention that the bugs I have noticed will definitely be updated by Roland. I am in touch with them and there will be updates getting released to sort out things like this and add new functionality too!
