Was drawn to it and cant wait to get started

Couple of things:

Can i also use it via MIDI utilising the 16 pads to control 16 pads in a DAW or program such as Geist if i wanted to?

Dont think its had the software update. Should i look to do it? What extras does it bring?

Thanks!

I am not sure I downloaded a program that I was hoping to be able to do that but instead it only uses the digital recorder part of the sp808. However I think you might be able to hook it to a daw without a program as there is a midi channel you set for the pads to recieve midi data. I am trying to update mine to an sp808 ex if I am able to get my sp606 to act as a midi interface then I will try playing the sp808 from FLStudio, I will keep you posted.
