Caught this interview on NPR. embarrassed to say i had never heard of the guy, but loved the interview and his thoughts on music and composition and thought y'all might dig it too. one of my favorite parts comes around the 30 min mark, and i thought sp heads/music people/beatmakers could relate to his quote "my home is a device"

I was happy to catch that too. Not really a fan of his music, but i definitely respect the guy, and there's some amazing stuff on his tzadik label. It's always interesting when someone of that caliber gives detailed information about their creative process.

I liked very much his Naked City combo in the 90s
