what are some good Standalone VSTs or standalone midi synths that are good? i already have Massive ?any suggestions?

what do you mean standalone? no DAW? my favorites are tone2 products (particularly saurus and electraxx) but i think you need to use those in a DAW.

I really like analog factory by arturia, got it with the arturia 32 keyboard. its perfectly mapped with that keyboard to.. but it will work with any keys.. i think. i like it. i dont know if zebra is standalone, but a nice one to. and the korg legacy collection is GREAT!

Massive is awesome. I like Lounge Lizard (Rhodes, Wurli, etc.) The old NI B4 and others had stand alone options as well.

use this to make crazy loops or sample it and chop up and make glitch kits

its like dj fx looper on steroids and meth

Heres a little handy bit of software, it turns any vsti into a standalone one, i used it on trillogy and it worked fine. This way you dont have to bother loading up a daw just for a vsti instrument.
