+1 on eccentric soul, you really can't miss on those. The eccentric breaks & beats lp is a great way to sample the collection.

I second the Tame Impala post. Check them they have a real interesting feel with fantastic mixes to go along with their talent.
Also check out ' The Sound Stylistics' . Modern band 70s sound funky... need i say more?
