Hello again.
Hey can anyone point me in the direction of instructions on how to build shelving for 12" records? I want to build my own shelfs. Thanks.

Just give yourself about 14 or 15 inches of space between the shelves because depending on how long the shelf is it will bow with the weight of the records. Other than that its pretty self explanatory. Two sidewalls and a backboard all the same length. And measure it out for however many shelves you want. Be sure to account for the thickness of the shelves in your measurements. I recommend a strong hardwood because records are very heavy. And use a lot of strong woodscrews to bear the load. I have a $15 bookshelf I got at Walmart that I reinforced with woodscrews. Its particle board but then shelf is only about 3 feet long so it holds well.

May also help to put in some diagonal supports too. Far corner to far corner, both directions stuff. That'll heaps of resistance to the centre of gravity shifting left or right.

Records get heavy, make it as strong as you possibly can.
