What's up fam,

I have been without internet in my dwelling(s) for almost three years. I was able to post with my android phone, until now. There is an app for free called "FoxFi" and it lets you use your smart phone to act as a hot spot even if you do not have the hot spot option on your phone. I have been using it with my 2006 mac book pro for 2 days now and I think it is pretty good, you do not even need to attach (teather) a cord from the phone to the computer. Just wanted to spread the word.

Yo Ellaguru! long time,

This allow me to use my phone as a router / I don't need to buy internet at home because my phone is creating the internet signal for my computer to hook into. Kinda like free internet but my phone is creating the WiFi signal.

I used it for a while too. My network cottoned on to me using my phone as a hotspot, so when I used the default tether option I'd get a warning screen on my laptop saying that my contract didn't support tethering. FoxFi soon got round that tho! :)
