well..shit,seattle is in police state damn near,basically..i got stuck with a bogus "harrassment" charge-meaning someone said i threatended them, but it was just on some,"fuck you i'll beat your ass" shit...i get arrested, never read my miranda rights, didnt get a single phone call till i'd been there 6 days-meaning they never even gave me a chance to bond out--which i coulda done before i went to court and they raised the ammount..i was lucky enough to get a somewhat compassionate judge that let me out after 18 days instead of serving the whole 30 he sentenced me to..but ya know,i didn't do shit.seattle has soooo many people locked up on these ridiculous harrassment charges, and it starts with police making basically false arrests..and ends with the city making huge ammounts of money off of fines.its crazy, cause the spd just had a federal investigation on their police dpartment, sanctions laid down by the feds(then again, that whole shit could be a smokescreen to begin with..i mean, like the feds care?)-but the mayor and police chief refuse to aknowledge the shit, and spd continues to viloate rights left and right, and the excessive force in 90 percent of cases involving force continues..its crazy.its sad, because this is such a beautiful, perfect city,it could be a utopia if there wasnt so many evil ass people and corrupt pwer structures,government,etc....but we are starting to make a real change, and will continue till there is real change....cats rioted on mayday..cops were only able to arrest like 6 people,lol..out of a thousand or so...anyway,regardless,i'm glad to be out, dammit,i just wanna enjoy life,ya know?its not that complicated.shouldnt be at least

yo glue, where do you live man?never heard you say...sounds like some cali shit...never knew you've gone through the whole brutalization thing, but considering our thought processes are so simmilar,i know exactly what you've been thru probably.but anyway man,i was gonna start a thread directed at you--i'mm trying to render files from reaper and it wont let me..says i need lame encoder...but everytime i try to install it,it still wont convert in reaper...also,how do i make single wav files for making some drum kits?

thanks for the concern yall

you out there kel? voila!!

as for the reaper thing, maybe you can export the session as a wave, then load it in audacity and save it as a mp3. i'm sure you just drag the lame encoder file into the reaper folder in your program files. i never really got into reaper. I am using ardour for linux and it totally rocks. it is exactly like pro tools, sounds good, and has tons of free plugins. It works perfect on ubuntu. you can install it to a USB thumb drive and boot right off the usb stick and it wont fuck with the operating system on your computers hard drive. its wicked.

might have to explain a bit more about making drum kits, i sort of have an idea of what you mean. like make a whole string of hits, so its in one file ?

didnt even know you were native man...in a way that makes sense...my biological grandfather was "mulungen"(sp)-what they lables half "mullato" half "engine" people back in the day..both grandmothers were half native..didnt know u lived in canada, either,i still wanna move up there when i grow up & get famous so i can meet avril. but for real, wish i could enjoy living in nature..its just too spooky for me..to much silence makes me hear too much.

as for paragraph 2-i have absolutely no idea what any of that means,haha...as for drum kits,i mean you know how you click on a file in a kit and it just plays the 1 sound?each sound is its own individual file or whatever...i know, elementary shit,i know nothing of computers

yeah supposedly i am in the haunted part of canada. might explain some of the shit going on around me better. when i was losing it, my friend suggested that and started hearing wind blowing in her ears and made me trip out worse, it was like an acid flash back or something. that was a few months back, pretty much back to normal now, I knew something was weird when i asked where the train tracks were around toun, and I learned there is none. and I was like shit, a train blasts by every night. and theres a fricken old school full size kaboose pretty much in my backyard in a memorial type park by an old museum and 100 year old grain mill .

if you wanna make drums kits, maybe record them into wavosour from your sp and then chop them, there is a quick save for the selected area of the wave, it will help speed it up.

here in france "flicks" (policemen) are everywhere, never had brutal problems like yours guys, only 2 or 3 times they stopped me to control if i had drug with me(fortunately i hadn't in those circumstances) or because -i suppose-i didn't have a tipical nord european face. (i'm saying this without polemics)

the situation with police in washington state has gone completely insane over the last few years. an officer involved in a wrongful shooting that is eventually decided to be equivalent to murder is allowed to retire from the force and face no charges. there have been cases of officers beating people who had willfully surrendered to their custody while yelling racial slurs at them and these officers are given a week or two's suspension. be careful out there a.d. its crazy shit in seattle.

in better news i didn't realize there were so many cats up here doin stuff. you play live man? i'm gettin some stuff goin on in tacoma soon, tryin to make this summer crazy with shows.
