that's pretty cool. i have a converter that uses rca cables which i've used for tape, vinyl, etc., but what i like about this unit is the direct connection with usb, so hopefully less noise is tranferred, possibly, i don't know. it's also funny seeing some old technology (tape) with new technology (usb), tape is so amazingly analog and physical, i love it; usb are how computers turn into octopuses.

wow that shit is crazy, haha, for that lo-fi I want that dirty output jack not a straight to digital conversion.
