anybody knows where to get/how to make acapella versions?

Yo!
been looking around for some acapella versions of different songs (mostly old jazz/soul tunes) but i just couldn't find ones.
tried to work with the whole audio with a few eq's, but that didn't work either...
so, do you know any source of acapella version or do you know how to just remove the music and keep the vocals in songs?
would be glad if you'd help me!

LOts of torrents out ther just gotta look around yo. Look for box sets from specific record labels, they r usually full of b sides and other goodies lyk pellas

as far as i know, lots of the old soul/jazz stuff is mono.
