pretty cool drum and bass spot in bloomfield, think its called the bloomfield tavern. depending on what night you go, might be open mic, and you could prolly set up and do a quick spot. Who knows.

Jerry's Used Records. One of the craziest digging spots in the world.

Is the bus dropping you off downtown? nearly every bus in the city goes through there... although our public transit is a little bit iffy.

I just was there for a few days for the first time and I really dug it. The city has a lot of character, interesting architecture, and is picturesque as hell.
One thing to check is - downtown is triangularly separated by rivers on each side- each with many yellow steel bridges to the surrounding moutain-hills. They have these lift things that are really unique- a cross between a ski lift and a train- it's a few bucks round trip, then you're on top of the mountain with all these vistas with amazing views of the city + bars & restaurants- I was really glad I gave that a whirl.
Pirmanti Bros. Sandwich shops are all around- they specialize in putting anything you want btwn 2 pieces of bread- like if you like burger, fries & salad, they put the fries & salad on the sandwich.
I spotted a record shop (Exchange records?) right near Market sq. Downtown but it was after hours, so closed. Hit a Pirates game that ended up being rain-cancelled after the first inning- no biggie since bleachers were $11.
Yuengling is everywhere & so isn't Steelers stuff- be sure to Check out those lift things- mad retro cool.

that post got me pretty hyped on the city @HxC

haha. and yeah we are getting dropped off right in the middle of that triangle. So i guess this will be a 2 day adventure. no hotel booked. no contacts. just some backpacks.
