Here is my current rig- ha, still trying to find the optimal setup. Might end up trimming it down a bit. definitely had a bad case of gear acquisition syndrome recently...

Looks like fun, got the microsampler up in there. Nice dbx comp action.

Looks like someone needs another table. The dp02 is a nice machine, lacks on the editing side but really quick to drop beats on. Have fun with that joy in a metal box.

They put that shit out last year and stopped making it after a few months. I was looking to get one again (i had one before) but they dont make em anymore so you have to jump through hoops to get a new one of get it off ebay. Fucking sucks that so much equiptment comes and goes so quickly now. Now they have all these little mini boxes with no MIDI sync and tiny knobs and shitty editing. They need to make a multitracker specifically for sample based music and hip hop. Its usually geared towards guitarist and instrumentalist with all the amp modeling and vocal blah blah. So the editing sucks and they emphasize virtual tracks and takes. Be nice to have a machine to record a loop, loop it non stop, stop it at a measure and get something else in there, and to do this as quick as you can with a sampler with tracks and more than 1 sequencer, like an mpc. I like to track out sound for sound and it sucks to get like 4 tracks going, then try to edit something or drop one snare in one specific spot and have to take about 20 mins just to do that. Computers are cool but not that dam cool. Once you get away from the screen it feels good and you can zone out easily.
