But it's his place to talk about it on the net and spread videos around? That's what I'm saying-If it's not something you're willing to talk to a man about when he's right in front of you, part of the same bill-whether he's a little faded or not..you shouldn't be putting him on blast over the internet. And I'd say the exact same thing to a friend if they did the same.Me personally, I'd never pay 30 bucks to see my favorite producers spinning or playing beats..or juggling 3 sp's while playing an mp with their face for that matter. No ones mentioned the contempt i talked about that a lot of artists have for a lot of people that jump on their bandwagon...Keep in mind that's a huge factor in these types of situations. Keep doing your thing though,D.

u missin the point tho. u say spread the vid it was put on youtube from bigupmagazine. i posted it on here like i will post my videos which im sure will get dissected by critiques. it was posted on sp forums i do have homies on here i chop it up with on regular who asked to see footage and that wasnt bad at all. what i said is no different than laker fans sayin kobe had bad performance and postin espn footage of it.lol u make it seem like i wont mention stuff on some shady shit. i have had discussions with pete rock via twitter in the past so i dont have a problem speakin my mind to ppl. wheter they a legend or just a random person. also im curious what u would pay 30 bucks to see at show??? anyways this going in circles tho.lol but u keep doing ur thing as well.

Really, it's kinda like, say a Kev Brown opening for D.J. Premiere for a lot of people and some decent money...acting like it's all love at the show-then making a post including video on Crate Kings the next day about Preem putting on a lackluster performance..and making cracks about him sippping on a bottle and yelling at the crowd..... "thats some bitch faggot shit yall listening to!!.."="I like drake too, but damn",lol...someone would probably get stomped out for touching one of preems turntables though. I realize the vids were from "bigup magazine" or whatever, but you also said you were gonna post vids from your girl. And regardless of where the vids come from-I guarantee you they've already been spread from here to far beyond just sp forums. What would i pay 30 bucks for? At this point a couple new cds to listen to in the comfort of my living room chilling with a girl.or 30 records.Live hip hop shows are overrated to a large extent-with the occasional exception-usuallly a bunch of rich kids standing around nodding their heads and mouthing as much lyrics as possible to show how down they are to a shitty sound system while the artist/s give a half ass performance because they either don't like or are dissapointed with who they're performing for. Trust me, if non-major label artists didn't make the majority of their money by constantly touring-they wouldn't do it.I won't start name-dropping-but I've opened for/been part of bills with my fair share of cats..and had many convos ,some good, some bad..a person is just a person when you put the music aside. I don't have a twitter account though.

HAHAHAHA!! ADRU, the guy who tried to cheat on the official Roland SP battle. He got called out, acted a fool and then changed his name. Even after changing his name he's been called out many times again for disrespecting various forum members. God bless teh interwebs.

Back on point. Another performer, that I've paid to see at least 4 times, who puts on a real shitty live show is Del. He's always got some excuse that he's sick and just has another member of his crew come out and rap his shit for him. Big let down....

Oh yah, long time lurker; first time poster.

Hold up kids..I never tried to CHEAT on the battle,lol....I thought the idea of a battle for a faceplate was ridiculous, as well as dozens of heads coming out of the woodwork just to try and get a damn faceplate, and the whole battle itself was abviously a roland marketing ploy-- so I submitted my beat as a complete joke without ever even listening to the actual samples for the battle-Still haven't to this day ever heard the samples for that battle. Thought it was going to be completely obvious that I just submitted a random beat..but for some reason people didn't get it..and somehow people thought I used the samples provided--I even said when it happened I submitted it as a joke. I would have no reason whatsoever to try and cheat-at that point I had won something like 4 of the 7 battles I had entered. And,uhh..I haven't tried to hide who I am in the least-I've posted mad links to some of my older shit as well as mentioned several times that I used to go by druphit and adru on here-as well as posting an entire interview I did on that kanye thread, and being on Elhuanas new tape-along with just saying several times i'm..adru the misphit.

Now granted-when that whole faceplate shit went down--I was on a pretty manic swing at the time, which obviously had a lot to do with the word exchanges...I actually ended up in a hospital for a couple weeks the next month i think....but regardless-the battle thing- IT WAS A JOKE that people took way too seriously.

V3RTIGO- "long time lurker, first time poster"? seriously?lol..you've been "lurking" for literally years and THIS is the first thing you found worthy posting about?Yea, you're right-god bless the interwebs.I'm not running around here disrespecting people in the least,lol-and there's only maybe a very small handful of heads on here that feel I do..some people just have differences of opinons-and people like myself don't try to walk on both sides of a fence.

Dibiasi-it's interesting that you would pull up some shit from a year and a half ago because someone thinks its somewhat weak to get the opportunity to open for madlib and then trash him the next day---I've been saying the whole time it's nothing personal, but obviously you take it personally, thats for you to deal with. It's mad nice how you found a way to switch the topic though, congrats! But I also remember a year and a half ago you going out of your way to squash whatever words we were having.

Zomb-good boy!!!Went and got the link for your man d!

some of yall never cease to amaze me...... :D

forgive and forget is 2 different things. i forgave u ,but like i said i didnt forget.
how im so called trashin madlib by stating he kinda flopped and got booed but also sayin im a fan of his music and he's talented. i didnt get into detail. but u come on the same site trashin one of my crew members go figure. kinda of a contradiction u think??? im a person who pays attention to details. and btw actual hardcore madlib fans was really disrespectin him on facebook tryin to praise me, and i recall sayin take it easy on otis he's in the lab alot. but u still gotta vibe w/ the crowd. its definitely not personal. it was only joke by quotin go live ur pipedream sorta like ur faceplate incident.haha and openin for madlib definitely wasnt the highlight of my career which kinda make it seem that way. u sayin i wont say that otis face to face . its like u dissin fluent and i guarantee u wont say that to any llama face to face.

I'll repeat myself i guess, because it's something I'm willing to be completely open about due to the stigma "mental illness" gets-- I was in a pretty serious "manic" phase at the time we had our words..and actually have no recollection whatsoever about saying anything about somebody named fluent. And like I said, I was in a fucking mental ward for 2-3 weeks shortly after this time period...so obviously I had some much more serious shit going on than being worried about anything to do with you, or a battle over faceplates. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I said YOU were a mad taleneted beat maker and perfomer as well too, didn't I?Again- I would say the exact same thing to a friend if they did the same thing. It's just not cool. And you're obviously going around the net making a huge issue of this whole madlib show thing,if you're having all these discussions on facebook about it..whats madlib doing now? he sure as hell isnt on the internet talking about the cat that "brought his a game" and made him look bad as you implied. He's probably chilling working on another classic album, with some more cushion in his bank account. And these "hardcore madlib fans" who are now disrespecting him is probably why at this point he goes into shows wanting to fuck with people a little. That doesn't make sense to you?As far as forgiving and forgetting--it doesn't effect me in the slightest way if you do either man, seriously. I can say that I've noticed you only pop on here when you have something to promote, or slickly get people to check out a web interview with you by posting a "what are yall currently bumping?" thread.....come on man,let it go. If you wanted everyone to know you opened for madlib, you shoulda just posted a video of YOURSELF...if you really think it's that big a deal he gave the performance he did--it's just kinda sad you can't see where he's coming from.

i didnt say u had to be intimidated . but dont drop that say it his face stuff to me. im not tryin to have a contest of who has the longest criminal record. here we go pressin the wrong buttons we seem to know how to do that. haha. when u say go around the net its like im going on twitter and facebook 2 dopeboyz , cratekings, etc. i came to a site which u said is low traffic yourself. i big upped ur beats back in the day as well even when we was going on about shit. i say that im going to bring my A game if i was opening for my homies flylo or samiyam. but i know they gonna bring there A game night in and night out cause they hungry as well so it balance out. im was stating if u think u can have an average set w/ some hungry cats on the bill be careful. u just had to be there to know.

but if u went through that situation u probably had more important things to worry about. but u did take shots in sp fluent interview. this is kinda pointless man real talk. this my last time speakin about this. we can take our aggressions out in these sp battles. since ur entering them again ur not doing bad i must say. in #82

yea, pushing buttons..exactly- Only an idiot would be proud of a criminal record. I am however proud of the fact that I'm willing to put my life at risk for what i believe in.But for real, Instead of going back and forth with me-why don't you take a second to go to the couple threads on here with people giving you props and actually say "thanks"? As far as fluent- I seriously have no idea who he is. And I really don't feel like going back through some year and some change old threads & taking myself back to that time period. But once again, thanks for the backhanded compliment.

There is a diff b/w someone having an off show and what happened there - it seems like he just didn't give a fuck about it or what anyone thought and regardless of how long you been in the game that is weak...we are artists and artists PERFORM...people come and pay money to support YOU...regardless of whether they are "white kids" or if they were fans before a certain date, you have no right to put on a shitty performance on purpose just b/c you have a big name - if having a big name made me turn into that then I don't want to have a big name.
