when i was young i never wore a helmet... now i wear one all the time.. shit happens and this summer was rough on the pros... there were like three big names with bad brain injuries.. you def do not have to be a pro to take a fall and it DEF doesnt take a bad fall to cause it either...

the way i see it im already riding a bike why would i care what people say when i wear a helmet?

if you guys have "the container store" in australia they sell a dope hardcase for like 20-30 american... its got the foam padding and all that...

http://www.containerstore.com/shop/coll ... d=10001950

they are actually pretty nice for the money.. ive looked into pistol cases too and most of them are more expensive but somewhat nicer? but bigger and metal and more clunky... that or too small... keep in mind you need room for padding

hahaha do NOT oil them!

if youre handy with tools i have a fix... if youre not all the good with them take it back to the shop and ask them to "toe in your brakes" they squeek because they work... toeing them in makes one part of the brake pad hit before the other... they squeek because the pad is hitting flat... causing the vibration... it will more than likely go away after a few days.... if not holler at me OR the shop.... HOW DO YOU LIKE IT!?

its dope! :)

I am sooooo unfit! Will take me at least a week or 2 till i can go on a decent length ride, but hey... love it! :)

Also its kinda annoyin, everyone is like 'man bmx bikes are way to small for fully grown people'.. But its fine! Gah STFU ignorant ppl.. Its not like a transport bike where youre sitting down and pedalling most of the time.. Hahahaha and my uncle said that if ur not a kid and u ride bmx you must be a junky or a pedo wtf hahaha

The city I live in is considered the most bike friendly city in North America (Portland OR), but I have the same view as your uncle. Most people I see riding BMX bikes are dealers and junkies/pedo's. You can usually find these people near the train stops doing their business. Don't get me wrong there are lots of people that do ride BMX here that aren't, but they will put their bikes in a car and drive to their spots.

edit: I do not own a car and only commute by bike. I've been car-free for 4years :D

You know it to be true Drewzle.
I just skated for 6 hours and people were looking at me like I was pedophile when I'd manual past them or hit a slappy slaperton on the curb. I got to bump like all the new cool shit of beatt-apes, smoke a blunt of the UK Cheese and see mad ladies. If people look at you funny when you're smashing your bike or board just make a look on your face like they shitted in their pants and watch how long they keep eye contact or interest in what you're doing.
