right now whats hot in my zune(mp3 player) is the album "sleeping giant".
it by Tajai, (from the Hieroglyphics crew) i think its like 5 or 6 years old already, but its great hip hop. the songs go together really good.
everytime a song of this album plays from my random playlist, I turn the shuffle off so I can hear the rest of the album. check it out if you havent.

Roots always bring that heat! I haven't copped that album yet, but will definitely keep me eye out for it.

As a side note... the Rock The Bells line-up is sick as hell! Tribe... Nas... De La... and on and on...

As mentioned, El-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead produced by Trent Reznor and Clouddead.

My recommendations:
Sole - Selling Live Water
Alias - Muted
Amon Tobin - Foley Room (that's my Record Of The Year '07)
Björk - Vespertine
Dangerdoom - The Mouse And The Mask
Sole & Skyrider - Sole rips it in this collabo with the heavy-multi-instrumental group, I haven't heard such tunes before, ever

No one mentioned Dälek? - pick any album, their style is just furious

El-P produced that whole album man, Trent Reznor sang on one song but Clouddead had nothing to do with it....

Oh, I didn't mean to pull Clouddead into that, I was just saying that they're a must listen, too.

I always thought Trent was the one who produced that shit, thanks for letting me know.

I like this band called The Unicorns. Kind of indie-rockish but with drum machines, and just really good songs, goofy and cool. Weezer's Pinkerton is a favorite album. The Velvet Underground never gets old for me. Big Star is my favorite band overall.

I like Quasimoto "The Further Adventures of Lord Quas". I'm kind of a noob when it comes to hiphop though.

My girl likes Mickey Avalon...
