Agree. I don't buy into all the conspiracy theory either. :D

lots of field recordings the past few days too and machinedrum beats.

niq names good call on the airborn audio, i need to dig that up and give it a listen used to be on my daily rotation.

yeah i caught this album chillin at this bookstore and had to get it. if i remember right they used to get down with antipop consortium.

Non Phixion has also been getting some spin too.

what type of recordings have u been able to capture

for field recordings i have a lot of shit, i bought a little zoom h2 last fall and have been using it a lot but haven't had time to go through all the stuff until lately.

some stuff of note:

-bunch of ravens and crows at the san diego zoo with a big bell chiming in the background to mark the hour

-a bunch of birds chirping away under an over pass in chicago right in fron of the natural history museum with the reverberations of footsteps and voices as people pass by

-a street performer out side of the MOMA in chicago using a line6 dl4 looping and modulating his own beatboxing and raps with buses and shit passing by and two rich white girls talking how they talk completely ignoring the dude busting outthe jams right in front of them.

-a kid getting down on some buckets with drum sticks at a subway stop in chicago

-a few minutes of a crazy thunderstorm in missouri with tornado warnings and all.

-the trolley car stop in san francisco next to market street, got a good one of some young black hipster girl yelling "DAAAAAAAMN GINA!" as her friend gina walked up.

-more stuff from SF including a small band playing with the shit bouncing off of all the buildings and blending in with the street sounds.

-more rain beating down on the windshield of my girlfriends car.

-myself building some small poplar boxes with a pnuematic brad gun and the occasional hammer tap for fine adjustments. lots of good percussive noises there

-planes flying over head with birds chirping(i live next to an airport)

-hopefully today i'm going to ride my bike down to these wetlands near my house and get some good shit there

+lots of random stuff from streets, airports, subway cars etc.

lots of fun and a good source to add a little extra to your production, also great to process and get weird ambient organic glitchy stuff

also i have a lot of video from a trip to south korea last summer that i want to go through and grab the audio from.

airborn audio is essentially just anti-pop minus beans.

also yeah the hate some people have for obama is crazy just the other night some dude walked up to my friend who i was with and started going off about "that n*****r in office ruining the country" like just because we're white we'll be like "yeah fuck him, bush4life bro!" then when the dude got called out for being a racist he just kept changing the subject and almost got in a fight with my friend. some people...

Yeah I'm not going to do a political diatribe or anything, but the Obama Deception, at least from what I got from it, was more about the dangers of the globalists' control over the Obama administration (and the US political system), especially Zbignew Brzezinski (sp.), George Soros, Goldman Sachs, the CFR, the Fed, and those types of people and influence groups. I think it's pretty fair to make a movie like that as Obama was advertised as a big reformer and political outsider when he is a totally paid for representative for the global banking establishment, and within weeks of taking office he went back on most of his campaign promises that helped get him elected!

Anyways! I can't stop listening to Burial/Four Tet's "Moth." And my girlfriend for the past few days kept having me play Quasimoto stuff on the record player.

I just had to tune in to andrew jones to see what the hell he's been talking about lately. And I can't stand how he talks like the fucking rapture is coming.......... Seriously Folks.. It's COMING. And he's not just making it up. It's real. Then advertisements come on and he's doing adds selling rapture letters that will go out to your loved ones in case the rapture comes and you vanish while leaving loved one behind.

(being hypothetical about what I heard, but I am pretty on the point.)

Man, I was lucky to stumble upon it at Good Records in Dallas while visiting my parents. The first side is good, but "Moth" is something that sticks in your head for weeks.
