Budweiser. I dont fuck around with imports or micro brews with the exception of Dos Equis and Spotted Cow. Around here people seem to try to have the most obscure brew when in the night life, almost as a social status. Fuck that tarbender give me some clydesdale piss.

From what I heard the beer in the states must taste terribly watery. My favourites are Carlsberg and Budweiser.

I didn't know you have Veltins and Köstritzer over there but then again Mid-European beer is the world's best anyways :P

My favorite has got to be the Sebago Brewing Company's hefeweizen fresh on tap with a slice of lemon. I could drink that till my liver gave out, but until I find myself back in Maine it's just a pleasant memory. O'dells makes a decent hefe too but it's just not the same.

Guinness from a pub that knows how to handle it comes in second I suppose. Can't drink as many though.

As far as liquor store beer, Sierra Nevada is good. There's also a terrific chocolate beer I used to buy in Fort Collins. Smooth and rich like mousse, but not overly sweet. Had a purple label and costs about 4~5 a bottle if that helps anyone.

If given a preference, my daily is dry red wine. Gabbiano is good and cheap. Paisano is cheap and non-offensive.

Do you guys like Dunkel Weiss (dark wheat)?

Yo Doc you are right about Stella in the states. The Stella in Europe is nowhere near as skunky because it's in brown bottles (less light gets in) and - more importantly - it's fresh!! It's funny how in Belgium Stella is on the level that like Budweiser or Miller are here. Or should I say MillerCoors.

on the cheap - Pabst

on the regular - Bass

my favorite is just classic Guiness

I'll also rock a redstar (heiny) if I can find it

but I had some Chocolate Stout by Brooklyn Brewery or some shit like that, it was mad expensive, but knocked me on my ass ;)
