Diamond D - "Stunts, Blunts & Hip Hop"

..one of my all time favourite hiphop LP's from the early 90's.

Someone mentioned Death Certificate which is truly great.

Someone also said Pan Sonic, they're from around here. They
used to be Panasonic but had to change theri name. I remember
their bass-heavy gig from this outdoor swimming pool..

You guys are droppin some classics.

Recent plays:

Freddie Hubbard - Red Clay (classic jazz)
Kool Keith - Sex Style: Unreleased (Kutmasta Kurt on some ill ass beats)
Monsta Island Czars - Escape from Monsta Island (raw ass hip hop)

also rockin that Percee P - Perseverence. This album may not be destined for "classic" status... but it is a banger.

jesus and mary chain - darklands or munki (i would not love 4/4 as much if not for this band, this is what rock and roll sounds like with an almost drum machine drummer, i think they use machine highhats and real drums)

the stooges - first two albums 1969 and funhouse (best guitar sound ever + iggy pop)

primal scream - exterminator (another rock band that incorporates lots of electronics, esp on this album, i dont know how to describe it well except for maybe a more party hard radiohead)

and of course: nine inch nails - pretty hate machine

I don't own much hip-hop records, some recommendations still;

RZA - Afro samurai OST

Run DMC - Crown royal

Patr00 - Random Note ( polish underground hip-hop )

Cypress Hill - Black Sunday ( and a whole bunch of their records really)

Fugees - The Score ( some classics on their, but perhaps a bit too mainstream by now? )
