I respect everyones opinion, but the term conspiracy theory has really become an unfair label which is placed on people who question the information we are fed. That label is nothing more than a simple way out by placing people in a corner and ignoring them without looking in to what they are saying. Believe me, I wish I didn't have to worry about this shit at all. In fact, my life was so much easier when I was totally oblivious to what is actually going on. But now I know and there is no going back. It is very easy for some to disregard this as "conspiracy theorism" but until you can prove me wrong, you are nothing more than someone who is brainwashed or someone who can't accept what is taking place. I say this with all respect due and no hard feelings intended toward anyone. All of this shit is written in blood all over the world by the way of the military indusrtrial complex by way of the Federal Reserve by way of the United Nations by way of the Council of Foriegn Relations by way of the Bilderberg Group by way of global banksters. All of which have bought and hijacked the highest level of our government. If you think that Obama is calling the shots you are mistaken, the parties mentioned above call the shots. If you think that Republicans and Democrats are two different things you are mistaken. The same people of the "shadow government" have been bossing over Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr., and Obama so they agenda never changes they just put out a different face every two terms to keep the people fooled in hope of change. They control the prices of fuel, food and technology, they purposley start wars between nations and fund both sides making trillions in profit. Whoever is "elected" as the U.S. president has no choice but to follow the script and play the part...unless they want to end up like John F. Kennedy.

@dorkus, I'm not saying you're wrong. My guess is most people agree with you. What I'm saying is everybody is so concerned w/ the big picture that they ignore the small details.

I used to feel like...; rant edit.

edit2++lupe is also a modest mouse fan++

Performance aside, have any of you listened to the whole album? I'm curious to hear what any of you think about the production, particularly because it seems there was no sample budget (hey, this is a forum dedicated to samplers). Also, the LP is heavily laden with "du jour" style singing on the hooks. I considered myself a fair Lupe fan (especially his first album and earlier mixtapes), but the music of the LP kind of goes against most if not all of my tastes.

^^ this is my main point--taking risks with what he's talking about.i did hear a couple of the singles from fiascos album months ago kinda like wtf?But,when you think about it- for certain artists,(ones that are in the position to be heard by millions)these aren't really the times to be worried about underground cred-again-don't underestimate the fact that we really are in one of the most critical times of our existance-period.he's obviously trying to reach an audience that isn't as familliar to his type of ideaology as a lot of indie or underground hip hop heads. You can't help change the way the masses think or see things,or what they choose to expose themselves to by just continuing to preach to the choir.
