it has standard midi and midi over usb so it will work with any hardware or computer that has either standard midi-port or usb. so windows, linux, os x are all good. i think it's going to be around $4-500 USD.

Have any of you guys seen the Parisian Goldfish music video? It is filthy. I watched it in stunned disbelief, haha. Seriously, I watched it at a dublab event in Austin at the Alamo Drafthouse, and man, the audience reaction was something else, haha. I'm listening to the song right now, and that music video is forever scarred into my brain.

i've found my happy medium of software and hardware - used to be straight hardware. now i use sequencing and audio programs to run my 303 and control it with an mpd. it's like having an mpc with a 22" monitor and lighting fast editing with the 303.

The monome 40h is cool, but I wouldn't want to spend ages setting things up like that demo video shows. (Also, you're very much playing blind there.. could be an issue as well.)

Are there applications in which you can use templates? It seems quite good for live.
