So, if I'm a sucker for participating in this campaign, I'll eat that sh*t, but I hate to think that my, already suckering me for my money, internet provider wouldn't allow me to enjoy this forum or soundcloud/bandcamp/etc.
I guess I would go outside more or try hard to get something local going, but I like it here and those other places too much for it to be a struggle to enjoy freely visiting.

If any one has any insight on the issue, holler!
I realized after going through with participating, hell, I may have been suckered some how, but I also would rather have said something(if it somehow positively affected the situation) rather than nothing on the issue....
What do you think?

Peaces

Well, I didn't see this add at all till now. What I saw was via Tumblr...

https://www.tumblr.com/everybodyontheinternet

The last couple things dude said about attempts to prioritize access is what got my attention about the issue...
Sounds like it was a non issue for the reasons stated.
I don't imagine my participation meant much, but if something bogus happens to the internet, my bad for acting on this, as my little participation was the last straw  ...
A lesson learned here by myself...don't do if you don't know and aren't willing to dig deeper before acting. Whether I dumbed out or not, if I was a leming....

thanks for the response, hseiken

No worries, mang. Fear mongering is so rampant in messaging, it's hard to tell what actually to be afraid of.

EDIT: Just looked at that site, seems they're on the right side. But the best thing about political ads is you don't even have to win the argument with your ad, you just have to cast doubt as to what is best. Say a couple of buzz words in the right order and it can be confusing to figure out what's going on. Even on issues where I was right all along, I've seen ads and arguments that sound compelling and sway me...then I step back and go "Wait a minute...this is bullshit!"

Anyway...peace, don't be embarrassed, you weren't on the wrong side of nothing, mang. :) The TPP is probably the next hurdle, though...this one's kind of going to have the same consequences in a way...if it gets approved.
