got sp404sx ..

looking to get sp555 before the price goes up again .. i just wanna be able to flip shit quick then overdub back n forth ( with vocals over beats n instruments live - quickly with no need for a mixer .. ideally sp303 style

looking at 555 over the 303 cos i can get it brand new with 5 year warranty (no bullshit glitches or using next manz seconds .. specially if they didn't look after it! .. those basterds!)

anybody got/had both sp404 and sp555 ..is it worth having both or just switching to the tripled 5?

(will the 555 allow me to make beats the same way - i use resample to make dubs)

i loved the 4-0h-4 but want to be able to drop vocals over my beats immediately without having to fire up a pc or portastudes .. i prefer 1 stop shoppage .. berrr!

i know it's a novel .. but any feedback i do appreciate .. no jokes .. 1 .. 1

fuck that! .. is the sp555 worth £450 for me to be able to drop live instruments n vocals over beats made in the 404

.. does the 5tripla actually save the loop capture like a resample .. for example if i laced up a 3mins of beat with a bassline over
.. then just record live sax for the duration or does it limit the loop times so you can play out a whole song layer by layer?

i apologize if i don' make sense some times.. my mind operates quick .. fuck itt

My 555 is in the mail from EBay so can't say for sure but I think loop capture is what you are looking for. There are quite a few 555 videos on YouTube that should answer your questions. I will have a 404SX and 555 soon. I take my 404 around with me a lot and use batteries but there is a way to make 555 portable too if that matters to you.
