COMPUTERS - BANK C (2009)



Hey, guys,

This is the tape I've been working for the past month.
This is kind of something new; unlike in my past tapes, you won't find any looped stuff from the sample artists at all; I chopped everything on this tape.
There's a lo-fi hip-hop instrumental track for every pad on BANK C.
As always, the gear I used was my trusty SP-404, my Tascam 4-track cassette-recorder, my turntable, a bunch of records, cassettes, and even some CDs.
Some of the samples were made with the built-in mic of the 404, too.

Sampled artists include:

Lee Morgan
Art Blakey
Ahmad Jamal
Dorothy Ashby
Barry White
Roy Ayers
Funkadelic
etc.(if you need a specific sample source, ask me and I'll go find it out quickly)

I also added a folder with some of the beats that didn't make the cut.
All tracks were recorded in MONO, except for C_12, which is STEREO(check the change at about 2:45, too!).
The whole tape is about 60 MB.

Dude you really came with it on this one. Not that your previous stuff was bad but this is so much better. This is goin in the beattapes folder, the one I listen to all the damned time. Rock that shit CPU!
