very interesting actually.

i don't know how ableton works, i work with reason and my sp-404. i'm assuming this is somewhat live and is not entirely pre-programmed.

i particularly liked the high frequency drums. they had a very minimal sort of vibe. i think it paralleled well with the hecticness that later on in the track.

thanks man! thats some great analysis/feedback

i was jamming out before hand on some keys and bass
then its like launching those as patterns like on the 404 but they call them clips in ableton

its 3 live takes overdubbed no programming after it was played, only to get the parts i wanted to manipulate ready

so i had the pads starting those synths and drums and stopping them when it sounded right, and knobs controlling the osc's on the synth and the arpeggiator timing/gating/and range

nothing was made by clicking around the screen in short, besides getting the synth sound ready, etc

the atmosphere of this is great and i like how it morphs into an 8bit game sound moments before becoming something greater. youve gotreal slick abilities when it comes to transitions. like your attention cant drift, nah mean KID! lol jk
