lots of subtle chaos. i like the build up of this more than anything. ive got to say that this is one of the more put together songs ive heard done with ableton. ive always heard about its ability to let you mangle shyt and this is a clear example of "knowing what your doing" lol

hhaha thanks man thats a great compliment!

you should have seen the setup as i was doing it....

i had 10 knobs and a couple of faders going

i had just watched the documentary "Dub Echoes" check it out.
i was inspired by it when a guy said "theres dub in everything, you just got to find the dub."

really digging this. sounds like some of the down tempo stuff i do in reason. i particularly enjoy the almost simplistic minimalistic nature of it, everything else rolling the backbeat. your choice of sounds is absolutely superb as well. even the simple bass melody had me smiling.

thanks man! you should post your stuff up sometime.
yea i was trying to do very complex things with simple elements.

theres a lot you can do with volume faders and delay feedback, it gets overlooked...but they can be "played"

as far as the bass goes, I have a lot of experience with jam band riffage...i just hate solos now

post yr shit
