Still at the embryonic stage with my beat making :) but i'm learning a lot from you guys ! sp404 linked to a portable dvd player for the sample , then dumped to Ableton live to tweak it a little . Please go easy on the criticism if you have any as i'm a sensitive soul  PEACE http://www.box.net/shared/jmekj6rciy ps: have fixed the problem with the gap at the end of the song and the large file size ! many thanks to JAY :D

I know what you mean about the gap at the end ! track is ony just over 2min but after i'd saved it in ableton the file was a huge 71mb :? then i converted it and it came down to 10mb which is still massive ! not sure where i went wrong  As for the filmsy feel the sample is taken from Shane Meadows film This is England set in the 80's against a SKA music background . Well back to the drawing board for me i guess LMAO. Peace

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Jay :) i thought the fleetwood mac sample might have been the problem as it was an mp3 and not a wave file :? but what you said makes sense ! will be coming to you with all my problems from now on  will give it a try when i get back from work and let you know ! cheers.
