I promise, it's the last topic I made before my first album comes out.
I just feel I post here too much and I don't want you to be bored with me

After I made the video with QY70 plus 404, I was into qy70 once more. I made quickly a new track so that you can listen to what is it capable of ALONE, without 404's help.

I really liked the main melody in Black Milk's - Matrix track, so I insolently stole it ( usually I don't do such things, and I really dunno why I did it )

Plus I figured out that there is really a lot of effects on this little machine ( like distortion - which a I used a lot in my track -, flanger, tremolo, phaser, overdrive, amp sim, EQ, Wah, plus standard echo's delays etc. ) So I think it's a really good machine with A LOT of potential.

Of course QY has its drawbacks like:
-only 2 tracks can be used to sequence 404
-there arent many drums in there to choose from
-what else? Drewzle/Kris - help me out, cuz Im out of ideas!

Nice work Elhau... definitely hear The Matrix in there. I love that track too. I've been wondering about those qy70's. Yamaha made/makes some really dope gear. Haven't peeped the vid yet, but I'm definitely going to.

It's unbelievable that this little sequencer is now 12 years old!
Of course made in Japan. Never have I had any issues with any yamaha gear.

I wonder why did they decide to discontinue those mini-devices like QY70 and 100.

Imagine that there would be an updated version of it - same size, same buttons, same everything [ maybe backlight added ] - but with the ability of sampling...
Fuck! That would be MEGA-DOPE!

hehehe, and the case of my album is rather really futuristic, cuz I want a lot of things ( not tracks ) be on it. So it will take some time to finish it in a way I want it
