Hey everyone. Just purchased my very own sp-404 a few months ago and been messin round. finally got some stuff up on the space.

good to see there is such a huge underground community here for all the sp users.

heres a link to one of the songs I just made.

you all have been at this longer than me so give me some constructive critisism/feedback.

thanks

nice work. real smooth.

if you want critisism i dont really have any. more personal preference, just thought the track was really clean sounding. some like that some dont. im more into the dirty. haha. but really i thought the track was sick. do you use reason as well?

Thanks for the input guys. Once I get a better hang of this I'll post some better stuff up.

Hi-phi,

I've just been using audacity with a bunch of plug ins to record. I need to working a little dirty into my stuff since im so accustumed to jazz samples and stuff.

But yeah.

I was wondering how The battles in the arena work? From what I saw it looked like Someone uploaded an album and then people had to sample it to make a track.

But who judges it?

who gets to upload the album?

Is there only one official battle at a time?

how do you get involved?

sorry for all th equestionns and thanks in advance

Beat is tight, I agree :)

And as for the Arena section...
You can find answers for all your questions in "Da Rules" topic in the arena section

To make it short:
Every user is allowed to vote
The winner of the previous battle picks the sample
There is only 1 official btl at a time
Everyone who has any type of SP can join.

Im glad that you've bought your 404, welcome on forums :)
