I always create little 1 bar loops and then do some scratching sessions.

Recently I figured that the volume knob on the pt01 could act as a fader and
started doing that. It's sloppy n all but fun. Just a pt01 and a cassette deck.

At first the cuttin' is really bad, then it get's a little better as the track goes on.

I'm not really good at scratching in the first place, but with only the pt01 it's really fucked up.

Still, I thought I'd share.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but what would be the cheapest direct-drive turntable? Anyone that knows?

The Pt-01 is by far the cheapest belt driven I've seen so far and plenty of people are mad positive about it.

Best direct drive for the price is the Numark TT200. It out performs other entry-level turntables. You can snag one for about $150 on ebay.
