NOT TRYING TO HATE BUT IT JUST SEEMS LIKE YOU PLAY A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT DRUM LOOPS AND EXPECT THEM MATCH UP WITH THE SAMPLE. TRY TO CREATE YOUR OWN RHYTHM WITH THE SAMPLE SO IT CAN BE MORE ON TIME.

Ima have to agree that the drums are off on most of the tracks. My favorites are the last 2, tx and jobs. You gonna be on the 80's tape?

The cover is dope.

Only the war beat is too off beat in my opinion, the other ones are ok. Bluecandy is my favourite.

i dont even see how they are off beat. idk if you checked out anything other than those tracks but i can make my own "rhythm" this was just a different kind of project.

Don't get angry, its constructive criticism. The drums just don't fit.

oh not getting mad i just don't agree. doesn't always have to be perfect and quantized.

id probably dig your point if you didnt just sound like you pressed play on two separated loops and let them go on without any edits for a minute long.

+1 quantization has nothing to do with it, I understand that not using quantization provides natural swing and sounds awesome, most people on this forum are hip to that fact. However what is happening in the beats you presented is far beyond swing, it is simply offbeat and displeasing to the ear. If you want your beats to sound good then you should learn to tell the difference. The shocking part is that you defend these beats when they are so clearly not on beat. There's no way to say that without sounding mean, don't mean to attack you personally but come on, you need to know when something is rhythmically pleasing or not.

It's not that bad, but it's also not too good in my opinion either. The drums are super well known breaks not at all well hidden, that kinda killed it for me but I wouldn't say they are "offbeat" man, people are weird/ I;ve seen some whack ass shit get praise around here and genuine talent go ignored.
I think you have to been in the super adventure club to fit in

Keep making music. You'll understand the criticism and eventually understand what we're saying.

Also props to using my sample. ;)

Just keep at it. Explore chopping and creating your own groove with chops. This is where your own sound will explode from.
