here are some of my beats. i'm new to the digital world but i'm in the process of re recording my old tapes to the computer to upload. these are just a few of many to follow i should have a tape coming soon

I like the grainy grittyness of the sound quality. It's got a good feel to it. And all 3 sound like a cohesive group, giving a style to the music.

thanks for the feedback Matt. yeah i like the gritty, grainy sound, i was actually worried about it being lost when putting it on the computer but so far its all working out well

I actually like the use lofi gear for sampling and then recording to digital. You get the grainy crunch, but still have a clean composition.

Sometimes it gets a little to "hissy" recording to tape.
But I used to love my old analog Tascam 4-tracker.

Nothing would beat recording onto this gem:

yeah I'm finding that digital recording isn't as bad as i thought it was going to be, i guess that more "polished" sound comes from using DAW's to create music as opposed to analog gear. yeah that reel to reel looks like a beast, i just used an old tape deck for now but as soon as i see one of those reel to reel's for sale i'll jump on that

Plus, I like the fact you can visually "see" the music when recording digitally, in the form of an audiowave.
I think on that stream it makes Soundcloud a catchy player to use when sharing music online.
