I have been represented (hmmm maybe not correct English…?) on Spiritech Records, VA - Particles Rain Compiled By Lingua Lustra

One of the tracks are from SP-Battle #111 :P

Straight out of the sp-404. No external devices used. I never save samples. So the tracks are original recordings - "instant art" - that I never will be able to restore.

BTW, dear SP users, do you save you samples/back up etc?

Its a pain in the ass to write on the ipad/iphone with swedish spel check enabled.....

On SP, i rarely save samples. Usually, they'll be in the machine until the next time I use it. However, there's been times where I just keep switching banks and when I run out of sample slots, I erase everything. I have no back-up banks of the 404 anywhere.

On ESX, I will do same thing, but when I run out of room (and inspiration), I actually will back up all my patterns and samples, then load up a custom 'clean' bank I made specifically for my uses (has basic stuff like simple waveforms and some simple drum sounds only).

On OP1, I save banks internally that I make from sampling, but when I run out of room, it's like 404...I don't back anything up. This goes double for the 4-track tape. I record something, save the audio out or performance of those tracks/loops then erase the tape without backing it up.

I don't know if I regret these decisions or not, yet as generally, I will have the sources for everything I sample, so I really wanted to revisit the songs, I can just hit the original source material again and do a different 'take'.

Sounds "right"... Dont look back! But its fun to reuse samples, before deleting them :)
